26 SFA injected piles and 117 linear metres of RC ground beams for a private residential scheme in Wimborne, Dorset, delivered with anti-heave protection and full QA testing.
Geovex was appointed to deliver the complete foundation package at 58 Lonnen Road in Wimborne, Dorset. The scope covered both SFA piling and reinforced concrete ground beam construction for a private residential project, managed as a single coordinated programme.
The piling element comprised 26 No. 300mm-diameter SFA injected piles with design working loads ranging from 70kN to 250kN. Each position was installed to the engineer's specification and verified through sonic integrity testing to confirm structural performance.
Ground beam works included 98 linear metres of 600×450mm beams and 19 linear metres of 450×450mm beams, incorporating 220mm Cellcore and 75mm Heaveguard anti-heave protection. Concrete cube testing was carried out as part of the quality assurance regime across the Wimborne site.
The full foundation package was delivered in approximately four weeks, handed over ready for follow-on construction with all testing documentation and quality records complete.
